A New Workshop with Terry Parvan

Cost:  $69.00

Join Terry as you create a 10"x20" flat canvas board that you'll make pretty with papers, paints, and more before adding your words.  You'll be able to hang your finished board from a wire-wrapped handle so you can hang it to see easily each day.  Terry will also have charms available for you to add to you board as you go if you like.  Before arriving at the Workshop, start collecting words and phrases that resonate with you (Terry has 80 on hers!).  Ask yourself, "who am I", then tell yourself "this is who I am" or "this is who I want to be."  Magazines make a great resource for finding words that leap out or have meaning to you or you can type others up on your computer using 12, 14, 16, 18, and 20 font sizes in different type styles.  Terry will have lots of background papers, scrapbook papers, colored papers, pencils, stamps, paints, inks and more for you to create your collage before you even begin to layer on your words, but if you have any that have special significance to you, bring them with you.  This is your personal affirmation board, so you'll be making it your own.  Spaces are expected to fast in this new and exciting Workshop, so call to make your reservations early because SEATING IS LIMITED TO 12 students only.  Call now and save your space before it sells out!

What's In Your Journal?

Yesterday was another fun day in the Workshop as everyone welcomed Rebecca Janousek and her beautiful Art Journaling to CraftFusion.  With paints galore, pens at the ready, and all sorts of other goodies ready to make their blank pages sparkle, everyone went to work.  When the Workshop finished, all of those blank pages had been transformed into nothing short of true works of art.  Here are a few behind the scenes . . .

The Mesa Rubber Stamp Show is coming to town . . .

SAVE $2.00!  Tickets are only $5.00 if purchased early, $7.00 at the door. Children 12 and under are FREE if accompanied by an adult.  Each ticket is for BOTH DAYS, but you only pay for one!

If you purchase your ticket early, you'll also be able to get into the show on Saturday at 9:00am instead of waiting until 9:30.  Regular hours of the show are 9:30am-5:00pm on Saturday, and 11:00am-4:00pm on Sunday.  The last hour of the show on Sunday is FREE Admission.  There will be free coffee and iced tea for the "early birds" on Saturday, lots of booth demos, door prizes, a grand prize basket for each day, and lots more!

Last year, anyone with the name Elizabeth was given a free ticket.  This year, there are 3 names for free tickets . . . Amanda, Deborah, or Dawn.  Just show proper ID and receive your free ticket at the door of the show.  You'll be able to get your ticket early, so you'll still be able to get in line with your friends and all go into the show together.
