STORE CLOSING . . .

It's been almost 7 years since we first opened the doors to CraftFusion.  Over those years, I've the opportunity to meet so many wonderful and talented people.  Some have even become fast friends.  Unfortunately, though, this past year has been an exceptionally hard one, both on a business and personal level, forcing me to make a very difficult decision.  And that's having to close CraftFusion.    Our final day of business was originally scheduled as Saturday, November 18th, but we've recently had to accelerate that schedule and are now looking at a close date closer to the first part of the month.

Because of the change in schedule, we've unfortunately had to cancel some of our Workshops for the end of October and mid-November.  We've made the changes to our Workshop Page and Calendar on the Website, and apologize to everyone for any inconvenience this may cause.

Here's a quick list of Workshops we've had to CANCEL . . .

  • Saturday, October 28th ~ 10:00am-1:30pm ~ "Mixed Media Junk Journal" with Nicole Austin
  • Saturday, October 28th ~ 2:00pm-5:30pm ~ "3-D Mixed Media Collage Canvas" with Nicole Austin
  • Friday, November 17th ~ 10:00am-2:00pm ~ "The Odyssey Journal" with Kelly Kilmer
  • Friday, November 17th ~ 2:30pm-5:30pm ~ "Juicy Journal Pages" with Kelly Kilmer
  • Saturday, November 18th ~ 10:00am-2:00pm ~ "Untold Stories" with Kelly Kilmer
  • Saturday, November 18th ~ 2:30-5:30pm ~ "Visual Journal Pages as Narrative" with Kelly Kilmer
We've been personally contacting those of you who made reservations for any of the above Workshops, but if you haven't heard from us, please let us know.

During these past 7 years, I've been so lucky, as well as blessed, to be able to do what I love most . . . sharing my passion of papercrafts and mixed media with you.  I've loved meeting and talking with all of you, sharing ideas, and helping you with questions about products and how-to's or addressing your concerns whenever you've felt you just couldn't go any further on your projects.  Each one of you has truly been an inspiration to me and I'll never be able to thank you enough for the experience.

Happy Creating Everyone . . . We'll See You Soon!
Charmaine

Saturday  ~  November 18, 2017
10:00pm – 2:00pm

This journal is the ultimate in play.  Kelly tells us that she’s always looking for new ways to revitalize her favorite techniques.  Think lush layers of paint, paper, tape, stencils, pen work, and more all bound into little bundles of creativity.  You’ll start the Workshop by creating rich layers of painted pages.  You’ve only just begun as you step back, revisit your pages, and start to think about how you can assemble them into books.  Before the tearing and the binding begin, you’ll go through and collage your pages (Kelly will show you how to collage them so that when you fold and assemble them you will have pages ready for you to work on.)  After you’ve finished assembling your journal, you’ll step back again and learn techniques for on the go or art journaling using minimal supplies.

Saturday  ~  November 18, 2017
2:30pm – 5:30pm

Where do you start when you put pen to paper?  How do you translate what’s in your head to your visual art journal pages?  How do you combine the visual with the written word?  Learn to combine paper, paint, and pen to create visually expressive and unique journal pages.  In this Workshop, you’ll learn a plethora of layering techniques using not only your pens and markers but also paint, paper, and more.  Think that you know what there is to putting your heart onto paper?  Think again.  Kelly first developed this Workshop to challenge herself and now she’s challenging you.  Bring your journal and supplies listed below (Kelly will have plenty of art supplies to share because she doesn’t travel light!) and be prepared to spill out onto the page.
