Welcome to a full day of crafty Halloween fun!  In this Workshop, follow along with Gayl as she shares many new techniques that we guarantee you’re going to love!  She’ll provide paper that she’s prepared in advance for your book, but she’ll take the time to walk you through the dying process step-by-step that she used.  It really takes coffee dying to a new level!  You’ll arrange your pages in the order you want, then stitch and bind your book for a clean finish.  Once that’s done, you’ll spend time learning a variety of design techniques that make this book unique and special.  Techniques you learn in this Workshop will work well in all future projects you do!  Your finished book will be filled with several spots to add tags and embellishments, so if you have anything special you’d like to add, please bring it.  Everything about this Workshop spells fun, so call now to save your space before it sells out!  SEATING IS LIMITED TO ONLY 8 students . . . spaces are going fast!

Supplies to Bring:  Basic Craft Kit (BCK), including craft sheet; paper trimmer; scissors; ScorTape (3/8″ & 1/4”); your favorite wet adhesive that can be laid down as a thin bead (i.e., Fabri-Tac or Art Glitter Glue); paper piercer or awl; self-healing mat; and a ruler.  If you have any special ephemera you’d like to add, please bring it.  All other supplies and materials will be supplied.

Who's ready for Halloween?  Join our very own "Queen of Halloween" as she brings you another project for you to sink your teeth in!  In this Workshop, you'll take your mixed media skills to the creepy side, enhance your techniques using texture paste, and layering fun items such as texture boulders, pebbles, and sand, as well as starburst sprays and adding highlights.  Work on your embossing techniques with the die cut Zombie and dust off your Shrinky Dinks skills as you create all sorts of spooky characters.  Lastly, learn how to turn those Zombies and spooky creatures into a puppet show to create a one-of-a-kind piece that everyone will love!  Everything you'll need to construct your project will be available in the Workshop, but if you have anything special you'd like to add, please feel free to bring it with you.  SEATING IS LIMITED, so make your reservations early to be sure to save your seat for this chilling adventure!

Celebrate new adventures and happy times in this technique-filled book that you'll create using a Tim Holtz Portfolio and beautiful products from the new Crate Paper "Chasing Dreams" collection.  You'll refashion the inside of the portfolio into a Midor-style scrapbook with little books to hold your favorite photos and stories.  With your choice of letters for the front cover, you'll be able to personalize your book and make it your own treasured keepsake.  As always, your kit will have a large variety of choices for you to customize the cover of your book.  Each kit comes with complete directions with color photos.

Debby Schuh is a memory collector.  From the time she was a little girl, she has always collected bits and pieces of her life and stored them in scrapbooks and all kinds of creative projects.  Her years as a school teacher, then as a teacher, designer, and author in the scrapbook industry, have led to a busy career teaching classes at stores and events throughout the U.S., as well as several other countries around the world.  She travels regularly teaching classes at stores and events, where her inspiring classes feature innovative techniques with paper and a wide assortment of mediums to preserve our stories and photos.  She has inspired students all over the world to record their lives and take the techniques she's taught and play in their memory keeping and art projects.  When she isn't traveling, Debby lives in Buffalo, New York, with her husband and has two married sons who live too far away.  She misses them all every day!  You can read more about Debby's classes and adventures on her blog at debbyschuh.typepad.com.
