Gelli Art the Day Away!

Everyone's sure to be busy these next few weeks making their plans for the Memorial Day Weekend, but what about after?  After all the excitement and go-go-go of a big holiday, you'll be in the mood for a little of what we like to call "Me Time".  That would be the perfect time to join Rita Blocksom on Saturday, June 1st for her "all things Gelli Arts" day! "Gelli Arts Canvas Journal"

In this new Workshop, you'll focus on creating Gelli prints on both muslin and canvas as you create a beautiful canvas journal ready for embellishment. Techniques will include monoprinting, stenciling and stamping, tag making, and so much more.  Muslin and canvas absorb acrylic paint much differently than paper, yet add so many opportunities for creative embellishment, so join us for a day of experimentation with Gelli plates.  Seating will be limited to only 10, so be sure to sign up early!  You won't want to miss out on this fun-filled Workshop!
Supplies to Bring:  Craft sheet; Gelli Arts printing plate (any size); hard rubber brayer; gesso and suitable paint brush for preparing canvas pages; small foam brush; blank canvas journal; small bottle of hand sanitizer for cleaning your Gelli Arts plate.  Instructor will provide craft acrylic paints; stencils and stamps; and textures (both found and purchased, such as bubble wrap and punchenella); and muslin.  Optional Supplies: Gloves; any favorite acrylic paints, stencils, or stamps; muslin.
