"Romantic Keepsake Box"
with Carol Rose

Join Carol in her newest Workshop and learn how to apply basic Tiffany soldering techniques and use 90-degree angles as you create the perfect box shape of this gorgeous trinket box. This lovely box measures 3"x3"x4" high, with box hinges that you'll create for attaching the lid.  Learn the latest faux mercury glass technique for that extra vintage charm, then finish your box off with antique patina and sealer.  With its soldered decorative feet, as well as soldered rhinestone chain, vintage jewelry components, and metal embellishments, your finished box will sparkle and shine wherever you decide to display it.  This project is a little more challenging than Carol's jewelry projects, but is still open to beginners, so be brave . . . you can do it!  Make your reservations early because with seating limited to only 8 students, this Workshop is already beginning to fill!

Join Cindy in her new Workshop as you learn a lesson in remaining within the parameter of a limited space, all the while creating a free-form collage.  You'll create your collage within an 8"x8" wooden box, then combine acrylic paint with a medium to achieve the perfect stain that will work on wood, fabric, or paper.  You'll also learn how to format a collage concept, as well as how to select complementary colors, staining techniques, and accenting with minimalistic ephemera.  Seating will be limited, so call early to save your space!
