"Transformation" Mixed Media Workshop

Take flight with Shawn in another exciting Workshop as you create your own unique mixed media art piece that will introduce you to all types of fun and stimulating techniques. This project was originally featured in the current issue of Stampington & Company's Somerset "Apprentice" (Spring 2014 Issue), and you now have the chance to recreate it, while adding your own creative touches. This Workshop will take you from the beginning to completion of mixed media, allowing you to go home with a distinct and one-of-a-kind piece of art. You’ll learn step-by-step techniques such as aging, shading, texture, and collage using ephemera, book pages, papers, acrylic paint, charcoal, and pencil. You’ll also be exploring the how-to’s of mixing glazing medium and transfer techniques. Designed for all skill levels, this Workshop is perfect for all Crafters from beginner to advanced. Seating is limited to only 10 students, and these Workshops are extremely popular, so call right away to make your reservations to save your space because you definitely won’t want to miss a minute of this fun and informative Workshop!

Supplies to Bring: Basic Craft Kit (BCK), including craft sheet and heat gun. All other supplies and materials will be provided.

A Shout Out . . .

Many of you are familiar with Shawn Petite, one of our extremely talented teachers here at CraftFusion. Some of you have even had the pleasure of taking a Workshop with Shawn, creating unique mixed media masterpieces of your own. We're very proud to announce and share with everyone that Shawn has recently been published . . . again! You'll find Shawn's amazing project, "Transformation", featured in the current issue of Stampington & Company's Somerset "Apprentice" (Spring 2014 Issue, pgs. 31-34). Here's a small glimpse, but you'll definitely want to pick up your own copy to add to your personal library.
