Small Canvas . . . Big Results!

The result from this month's monthly "ATC Workshop & Swap" was yet another amazing display of artistic talent!  With themes of "Elements - Earth, Wind & Fire", "Cats with Hats", "Yes, I'm a Scrapoholic!", or "Cooks' Choice . . . Anything Goes!", it was amazing to see what everyone created.  Just take a look for yourself!  Of course, everything always looks so much better in person, so if you haven't paid a visit recently to our ever expanding ATC Gallery, you really do need to stop in and see for yourself up close just how amazing these small works of art are.

Anyone who missed this month's Workshop, now's the time to make your plans to join in the fun next month . . . Thursday, December 11th . . . when the monthly themes will be "Windows, Doors & Arches", "Oh, Christmas Tree . . . Oh, Christmas Tree", "Favorite Technique(s)", and "Abstracts".  Pick just 1, or mix-and-match from 2, 3, or all 4 categories, but start “thinking big in a small way" and we'll see you then at this fun NO COST workshop.  From experienced to novice . . . you’ll definitely want to see what it’s all about for yourself!   It couldn't be any more simple . . . create 12 ATCs using the monthly themes (keeping 1 for yourself & bringing 11 to the Swap) . . . all the same or each one different . . . then come and share with others in a true workshop atmosphere. Or just stop in and see what's going on with other artists, ask questions, share information, have fun, and become inspired!

Be sure to watch for the results of our next "Challenge" ~ "Altered Books" in an upcoming post.  You'll be amazed at the outcome, so stay tuned!  Each Challenge is voluntary and the "rules" are really very easy ~  everyone who takes parts creates 1 Challenge Item for "Show & Tell" using everyday mixed media materials . . . embellishments, paints, papers, stencils, whatever strikes your fancy! . . . then shares their finished art piece with the group.  What could be easier?
