Join Carol in another exciting workshop and create this amazing textured soldered pendant necklace.  You’ll learn how to expertly use a soldering iron and copper foil tape for creating beautiful textured impressions in solder and how to add creative elements like twisted wire jump rings to add more texture, as well as how to design and create a personalized mix media collage background within your pendant.  You’ll finish your pendant with patina and pretty baubles to customize your necklace, making it a true one-of-a-kind piece.  Make your reservations now because with LIMITED SEATING, this much requested and highly anticipated Workshop is almost sold out!

Supplies to Bring:  Basic set of jewelry tools including round nose pliers, flat nose pliers, and a flush cutter (available at local craft stores; see photo below). If you have any special mix media bits ‘n pieces you’d like to add to customize your collage background, please do.  (The finished pendant size is 2.25”w x 2.5”h.)  All other tools, supplies, and sparkly elements will be provided.

“Spooky Halloween Album”

10:00am – 1:00pm

This waterfall photo folio album is a quick and unique way to display all those Halloween photos of your little “ghouls”.  The photo flaps hold up to 14 pictures on the waterfall side, and there’s even a pocket that can be used for more pictures, journaling notes, or anything you’d like to remember the holiday by.  You’ll have a complete paper kit from the new "Spooky" paper collection by Carta Bella, allowing everyone to customize and personalize their albums.  When finished, each album will be unique and no two will look alike!  You’ll love it so much, you’ll want to make another and another!

“Noel Christmas Album”

2:00pm – 6:00pm

Cost:  $45.00

This beautiful 12”x6” album has a wonderful vintage flair, bound with a wire binding to allow the pages to turn easily.  Created from the new "Christmas Joy" paper collection from FabScraps, your album will have lots of space for all your holiday photos, as well as extra envelopes, pockets, and foldouts to save additional photos and journaling notes.  Tim Holtz’ embossing paste and stencils will be used to embellish envelopes, and Christmas stamps will be added on tags, to add texture and interest to your pages.

Supplies to Bring (Both Workshops):  Basic Craft Kit (BCK), including trimmer; scissors; ScorTape (1/4” & ½” work best); score board & scoring tool; your favorite wet adhesive; tape runner (if desired); and your favorite ink for embellishing and shading (Vintage Photo used in the samples).  All other materials and supplies will be provided.
