"Transformation" . . .

It was another fun and exciting day in the CraftFusion Workshop last Saturday, April 26th, as Shawn Petite shared her magic and secrets to her unique style of creating extraordinary mixed media art pieces with several lucky students. At the end of the Workshop, everyone went home with their own one-of-a-kind piece of art . . . and big smiles on their faces!  Shawn led everyone in the Workshop in all types of step-by-step techniques that they'll be able to use in many of their future projects . . . creating aging, shading, and texture in mixed media, just to name a few . . . as well as how to collage with ephemera, book pages, and papers in your art pieces. Acrylic paints, charcoal, pencil, oil pastels, and even image transfers were added as finishing touches to each piece.

If you weren't able to make it last Saturday, you'll definitely want to make your plans now to join Shawn in her next Workshop on  Saturday, July 19th.  Stay tuned for more details as they become available, but we heard whispers of birds and harmony!  You'll want to call early to save your spot, though, because with limited seating, you won't want to miss a minute of the fun!  Check out this sneak peek . . .

And if you'd like to see more of Shawn's amazing art pieces, follow her on her blog at www.shawnpetite.com.
