Fun Had All Around in the Workshop!

It was another fun day in the CraftFusion Workshop last Saturday, July 26th, as Sherry Bamsey shared her magic and secrets to creating her newest album. This "chunky" mini album began as a 6"x8" drawing pad, but ended up as the perfect album for showcasing all those beach vacation photos we're all sure to have this summer.  Each finished album had 20 pages covered in Graphic 45's popular paper collection, "By the Sea", with photo mats, tags, pocket pages, and even pull out tri-folds for multitudes of photos and journaling ntoes to safely keep all those vacation memories.  Burlap, ribbons, sea shells, and scrabble tiles . . . all things "beachy" . . . were used to embellish the pages, inside and out.  When finished, each album was unique with no two looking alike and no sign of the drawing pad in sight!

If you weren't able to make it last Saturday, you'll definitely want to make plans to join Sherry in her next Workshop coming in October.  Stay tuned for more details as they become available, but we can tell you it'll be another great time and you won't be disappointed!  You'll want to call early to save your spot, though, because with limited seating, you won't want to miss a minute of the fun!

"By the Sea Mini Album" Workshop

Supplies to Bring:  Basic Craft Kit (BCK), including trimmer; scissors; ScorTape (1/4” & ½” work best); score board & scoring tool; your favorite wet adhesive; tape runner (if desired); and your favorite ink for embellishing and shading (Vintage Photo used in sample).  All other materials and supplies, as well as lunch, will be provided.

Pinterest Inspiration with Sherry

Follow along as Sherry helps you in creating this unique pocket-sized mini album, perfect for all those quick, small photos you take.  Using the gorgeous new paper collection, “Beachcomber”, from FabScraps and with wrap-around covers constructed from Ranger’s “Giant Tags”, your completed album will be overflowing with so many photo mats, tags, & pockets, that you’ll hardly believe it!  Big surprises come in small packages, and there’s certainly nothing “mini” about this album!  Call early to save your spot . . . seating is limited to only 8 students and seats are sure to fill fast!
