Memorial Day is so much more than just a time for picnics or BBQs with the family, watching parades, or shopping the sales at the mall. None of us would have any of the freedoms or opportunities we have each and every day if it weren't for the commitment and sacrifices of our past or present American military men and women. We should all recognize and appreciate, too, the sacrifices made by their families during the times of their service for our country. We ask everyone to please take a moment out of your activities over this Memorial Day Weekend to give a word of thanks and to remember these brave men and women for all that they've done and endured so that we might remain The Land of the Free.
