“Altered Box Necklace” Workshop

Join Polly as you
recycle a small, used Altoids tin to create a fantastic necklace to keep for
yourself or as a unique gift for someone else!
You'll learn how to paint and embellish your box, both inside and out,
using collage techniques from items like ephemera, papers, old photos, letters,
ribbon, lace, glitter, or anything else that you'd like to add! You finished box could also make the perfect
place to keep secret treasures in!
You'll be using ICE Resin for your collage, as well as learning wire
wrapping techniques for adding your cord for the necklace, and beads and
ribbons for embellishment. Designed for
both the beginner and more advanced student, and is sure to be fun for everyone! SEATING IS
LIMITED, so call early to save your space
because it's sure to sell out!
Supplies
to Bring: Craft sheet or mat; scissors; chain nose and round nose pliers
(if you have them); ephemera (special papers, old letters, etc.), photographs,
or memorabilia; any special embellishments such as beads, charms, or other items
you'd like to add to your necklace; any favorite ribbons, chain, or fabric
you'd like to add. All other supplies
and materials will be provided.
