A Bit Late, But No Less Amazing . . .

We are so glad last month is behind us!  We could begin with a slew of excuses as to why a post wasn't done earlier for last month's "ATC Workshop & Swap" . . . such as our computer crashed (which it did), we lost all our information (also true), we had to buy a new computer (yes, true) & we had to re-imput all our records for the past 4 years (need we say it?), or maybe the one about our website was hacked & we're still in the mist of trying to re-enter or re-create everything (which did happen & we are) or pretty much anything else you could image . . . but we're here to make that up now, so here we go!

With themes of "Collage It!", "Figments of Your Imagination", "Magical Creatures", or "Cook's Choice~Use of Metal" to choose from, once again everyone's artistic talents and skills went into overdrive and the final results were amazing!  Just take a look for yourself!

Looks like fun, right?  Be sure to join us next month on Thursday, June 11th, when the themes will be "The Summer of (Year)", "Watercolor Landscapes", "Dogs in Shakespearean Costumes", and "Cook's Choice ~ Anything Goes!".  Pick just 1, or mix-and-match from 2, 3, or all 4 categories, but start “thinking big in a small way" and we'll see you then at this fun NO COST workshop. From experienced to novice . . . you’ll definitely want to see what it’s all about for yourself!   It couldn't be any easier . . . create 12 ATCs using the monthly themes (keeping 1 for yourself & bringing 11 to the Swap) . . . all the same or each one different . . . then come and share with others in a true workshop atmosphere. Or just stop in and see what's going on with other artists, ask questions, share information, have fun, and become inspired!

Also, be sure to watch for the results of our recent "Challenges" coming soon where everyone created "Altered French Fry Containers" and "Altered Bottles".  They're bound to knock your socks off!  Each Challenge is voluntary and the "rules" are really very easy ~  anyone in the group can suggest a Challenge & those who take part creates 1 Challenge Item for "Show & Tell" using everyday mixed media materials . . . embellishments, paints, papers, stencils, whatever strikes your fancy! . . . then shares their finished art piece with the group.  What could be easier . . . or more fun?
