Face the Cards . . .

Last Thursday evening's monthly "ATC Workshop & Swap" was another great example of everyone's creative juices working overtime!  With themes of "Whimsical Owls", "T-Shirt Sayings", "Listen to the Music!", or "Cook's Choice~Anything Goes!" to choose from, each person's artistic talents and skills went into overdrive and the final results shone!  Just take a look for yourself!

For anyone who missed this month's Workshop, join in the fun next month on Thursday, April 9th, when the themes will be "Collage It!", "Figments of Your Imagination", "Magical Creatures", and "Cook's Choice~Use of Metal". Pick just 1, or mix-and-match from 2, 3, or all 4 categories, but start “thinking big in a small way" and we'll see you then at this fun NO COST workshop. From experienced to novice . . . you’ll definitely want to see what it’s all about for yourself!   It couldn't be any more simple . . . create 12 ATCs using the monthly themes (keeping 1 for yourself & bringing 11 to the Swap) . . . all the same or each one different . . . then come and share with others in a true workshop atmosphere. Or just stop in and see what's going on with other artists, ask questions, share information, have fun, and become inspired!

Watch for the results in an upcoming post of this month's "Challenge" where everyone created "Altered French Fry Containers"!  We're sure you'll agree that the outcome is absolutely amazing!  Each Challenge is voluntary and the "rules" are really very easy ~  anyone in the group can suggest a Challenge and everyone who participates creates 1 Challenge Item for "Show & Tell" using everyday mixed media materials . . . embellishments, paints, papers, stencils, whatever strikes your fancy! . . . then shares their finished art piece with the group.  What could be easier . . . or more fun?
