ICE Resin® in Bezels” Workshop

Saturday, August 23rd
10:30am-4:00pm
Cost:  $90.00  (includes lunch)

Have you heard of ICE Resin®?  It’s the fantastic jeweler’s grade resin created by internationally known designer and mixed media artist, Susan Lenart Kazmer.  It’s fabulous to work with it’s self-leveling, self- healing, naturally doming characteristics that dries to a crystal clear, glass-like finish in 8-12 hours with no heat necessary!  And it won’t fade, yellow, or become brittle when properly cared for.  Come join Polly Hendrickson, a Certified ICE Resin® Instructor and Design Team Member, in making 3 gorgeous bezel necklaces, each filled with a mini-collage that you’ll design.  Your collages will include charms, words, glitter, ephemera papers . . . really anything you’d like to include.  The possibilities are endless!  You’ll learn how to mix ICE Resin®, create your collages, and fill each bezel with the resin.  Polly will also share how to make a fabric chain for each necklace using silk ribbon, lace, and other materials, in addition to creating handmade wire clasps.  Designed to allow you to use your imagination completely, we hope you’ll be able to make it for this fun and exciting workshop!  SEATING IS LIMITED, so call early to save your space because it's sure to sell out fast!

Supplies to Bring:  Craft mat or garbage bags; Sharpie marker and pencils; scissors; X-Acto knife; chain nose and round nose pliers (if you have them); wire snips; glitter, ephemera paper, book pages, pictures from magazine, beads, charms, or any found objects like buttons or tags you’d like to include in your mini collages; any favorite ribbons, lace, or fabric you’d like to include.  All other materials and supplies will be provided.
