The Results Are Now In . . .

On the part of the Management, we'd like to apologize for a huge oversight.  It's recently been brought to our attention that we apparently "inadvertently forgot" to post the results of June 12th's "ATC Workshop & Swap" (which is another way of saying we goofed!)!  So, with huge apologies to all of the talented artists in the Workshop, and without any futher ado, here we go . . .

With themes of "Favorite Old Time Movie(s)", "Favorite Old Time TV Show(s)", "Zombies or Robots!", or "Ticket, Please!" to pick from this month, eveyone choose their favorite and went to town creating!  We're a bit biased, to say the least, but just take a look at the results for yourself . . . they're GREAT!  Of course, everything looks much better in person, so plan on stopping in for a visit to check out our expanding ATC Gallery to see for yourself just how amazing these "mini" works of art really are.

TOP ROW: "Read Banned Books", Deb Schinzel; "The Last Golden Ticket", Terri Durst;
"Do the Robot!", Kristen Johnston
MIDDLE ROW: "Dr. Who", Mimi Lawrence; "Roman Holiday", Jeanette Lee;
"Gone With the Wind", Jean Hamrick
BOTTOM ROW: "Ticket, Please!", Charlotte Fern"The Case of the . . . (Perry Mason)", Charmaine Conway; "Tickets", Lylia Hagerty
Stop by & check out these & all of the fantastic works of art
in our ever expanding "ATC Gallery"!
For those who missed June's Workshop, make your plans now to join in the fun next month . . . Thursday, August 14th . . . when the monthly themes will be "Alice in Wonderland", "Aesop's Fables", "Things Under My Bed!", and "Cook's Choice~ATC Triptych".  Pick just 1, or mix-and-match from 2, 3, or all 4 categories, but start “thinking big in a small way" and we'll see you then at this fun NO COST workshop.  From experienced to novice . . . you’ll definitely want to see what it’s all about for yourself!   It couldn't be any more simple . . . create 12 ATCs using the monthly themes (keeping 1 for yourself & bringing 11 to the Swap) . . . all the same or each one different . . . then come and share with others in a true workshop atmosphere. Or just stop in and see what's going on with other artists, ask questions, share information, have fun, and become inspired!
Remember to save the date . . .
the second Thursday of each month from 6:00pm to 8:00pm . . .
we look forward to seeing you there!
The group is growing, but there's always room for more!

Be sure to watch for the results in an upcoming post of our most recent "Challenge" where we'll all be creating "Altered CD Cases".  The outcome is always exciting so stay tuned!  Each Challenge is voluntary and the "rules" are easy ~  for everyone who takes part, create 1 Challenge Item for "Show & Tell" using everyday mixed media materials . . . embellishments, paints, papers, stencils . . . whatever strikes your fancy!

Upcoming Month's Themes -
