"Rabbit Paper Dolls"! Maybe because it was Easter, or maybe it was because our Challenger just likes rabbits, but that was the Challenge given everyone for the April
"ATC Workshop & Swap Challenge". And here are those results . . .
As you know, any member of the group can "Challenge" the others with creating something special and unique. T
here're no "rules" except that anyone that participates creates one Challenge Item for "Show & Tell"
using everyday mixed media materials . . . embellishments, paints, papers, stencils . . . whatever strikes their fancy! Without any themes or other guidelines, the ultimate goal is to showcase each artist's personality through the type(s) of embellishments, decorations, or techniques used.

Charmaine Conway's bunny definitely went big! The largest bunny in the herd, she's created from burlap with fancy brads as shoulders & hips. Dressed up in her finest pink ribbons & gems, this gal is ready for dinner . . . to eat, not be eaten, that is! |
|
Charlotte Fern, aka the "Challenger", created a bright & colorful pair of country bunnies all ready for Spring & the Easter Holiday. The perfect decoration for a shelf or as a centerpiece on any Easter dinner table. |
|
Deborah Schinzel also had fun with the Challenge as she created a customized vintage dress for her bunny. Not stopping there, she also added "fur" to her bunny's arms & legs, making it the "hare"ist one in the herd! (sorry for the pun, Deb!) |
|
Created with her grandchildren, Sheila Rose's finished bunny is wearing his finest with his blue jacket & socks. And check out those big dreamy blue eyes! |
|
Terri Durst combined her love of sewing with this Challenge & created this colorful "egg" pin cushion, perfect for any Easter basket. Of course, it's one very large pin cushion . . . |
|
Lylia Hagerty couldn't stop with just one bunny . . . she created her own herd! Dressed in their Sunday best, all 3 are ready for a Spring picnic & egg hunting in the park! |
Join us in congratulating and thanking all of these great artists for a job well done! We'd love to hear what you think, so please leave us a comment . . . or two! . . . and share your thoughts. And if you'd like to take part in our monthly "ATC Workshop & Swap" or Challenges, join us the second Thursday evening of each month from 6:00pm-8:00pm and you too can begin to think big in a small way! There's no membership required and it's FREE! Hope to see you there!
