"Stitched Book" Workshop
with Dana Edwards

Join Dana on your choice
of dates in the next Workshop in her popular Bookbinding Series. You’ll create another beautiful journal, using
your choice of patterned paper, fabric cloth, and waxed Irish linen
threads. Follow along as Dana shows you
how to do the Japanese stab binding technique, Asa-no-ha Toji, or Hemp Leaf
stitch, as well as the proper construction of “signatures”. Your finished journal will be constructed
with blank pages, making it the perfect place to keep all your notes and
memories. You’ll want to call early to
make your reservations, though, because with seating limited to only 12
students, each of these popular Workshops are already on the way to
filling up for both dates! (Photos below are to show samples
of the “stitch” only)
Supplies to Bring: Basic Craft
Kit (BCK), including scoring board/tool, ruler, pencil, adhesive (UHU Glue
Sticks work best), paper piercer and piercing pad. All other supplies and materials will be
provided.
