1960's Music

Do you remember where you were or what you were doing in the 1960s?  It was said in last night's "ATC Workshop & Swap" that if you could remember, you weren't really there . . . what do you think?  Whether you do or don't remember, the '60s were filled with new and exciting music and musical innovations.  The music scene was moving away from the doo-wap and rockabilly of the 1950s, and the "psychedelic" and "British invasion" sounds were gaining popularity.  Times were a'changin'!  And at last night's "ATC Workshop & Swap", those changes were evident by everyone's creativity in their incredible ATCs.

This month's theme was "1960's Music", and once again, it was exciting to see what everyone did . . . from The Beach Boys to Janis Joplin, everyone shared their ideas of what we all were listening to during this musical era.

For those who missed last night's workshop, it's not too early to make your plans now to join us next month.  Mark your calendars now for Thursday, October 11th and start “thinking big in a small way"!  Check out the exciting theme and we'll see you then at this NO COST workshop.  From experienced to novice . . . you’ll definitely want to see what it’s all about for yourself!  Bring a friend or two . . . the more the merrier!  Create 12 ATCs using the monthly theme . . . all the same or each one different . . . and come and share with others in a true workshop atmosphere.  Or just come and see what's going on with other artists, ask questions, share information, and become inspired!

Remember to save the date . . . the second Thursday of each month from 6:00pm to 8:30pm . . . we'll see you there!
