1920's Phoenix

Last night's "ATC Workshop & Swap" was another great success!  Everyone who came to the workshop created incredible ATCs and had fun sharing their ideas & trading with the others in the swap.  Each person left the workshop with a miniature piece of art showing another person's idea of "1920's Phoenix".  All the bases were covered . . . from swimming in the canals (yes! it was actually a sport in the '20s!!) to some of the oldest buildings still standing in Phoenix today, everyone shared their ideas of what life was like in the "olden days".
BOTTOM ROW: "Hotel Luhrs", Sharon Van Dussen; "Post Office & YMCA 1920", Melinda Bush; "Phoenix Flappers", Donna Anderson
MIDDLE ROW: "Build It & They Will Come", Charmaine Conway; "Hair Goods for Sale" Charlotte Fern; "Hole in the Rock", Janis Bush; "Orpheum Theater-1929 Phoenix", Cheryl Wildman; "In These Shoes?", Charmaine Conway
TOP ROW: "Maricopa County Courthouse", Lynda Toresdahl; "Canal Swimming - 1923", Lylia Hagerty
Come in & check out all these fantastic works of art in the new "ATC Gallery"!

Remember to save the date . . . the second Thursday of each month from 6:00pm to 8:30pm . . . we'll see you there!
