“Bookbinding” Workshop

Join Dana in the next Workshop of her popular bookbinding series.  In this Workshop, you’ll create a beautiful 6”x9” journal, using your choice of fabric, metal embellishments, and waxed Irish linen threads.  Follow along as Dana guides you through the process !of making your own book cloth, as well as binding your book.  Your finished journal will be constructed with blank pages, making it the perfect place to keep all your notes and memories.  Call early to make your reservations, though, because with SEATING LIMITED TO ONLY 8 STUDENTS, this popular Workshop is already on its way to selling out!  (Photo below is to show sample of the “stitch” only)

Supplies to Bring:  Basic Craft Kit (BCK), including craft mat; brayer; paper piercer & piercing pad; scoring board/tool; ruler; pencil; and adhesive (UHU Glue Sticks work best).  All other supplies and materials will be provided.

Optional:  Dana will provide several fabric choices, but if you have a fabric you’d like to use for the cover of your book, please bring it with you.  You will need two (2) 9”x12” pieces.
