Beautiful Collages . . .

It was another fun . . . and maybe just a little messy . . . day in the CraftFusion Workshop this past Saturday, August 16th, as Shawn Petite shared more of her magic and secrets to her unique style of creating extraordinary mixed media art pieces.  Each of those in the Workshop went home with their own one-of-a-kind piece of art . . . completely customized . . . as well as big smiles on their faces!  Shawn guided everyone who was in the Workshop in all types of step-by-step techniques that they'll now be able to use in many of their future projects . . . creating aging, shading, and the use of stencils and stamps, just to name a few . . . as well as how to collage with ephemera, book pages, and papers. She also shared the importance of added finishes touches by using acrylic paints, charcoal, pencil, and so much more.

Acrylic paint, charcoal, pencil, and so much more was added as finishing touches to each piece.

"Transformation" . . .

It was another fun and exciting day in the CraftFusion Workshop last Saturday, April 26th, as Shawn Petite shared her magic and secrets to her unique style of creating extraordinary mixed media art pieces with several lucky students. At the end of the Workshop, everyone went home with their own one-of-a-kind piece of art . . . and big smiles on their faces!  Shawn led everyone in the Workshop in all types of step-by-step techniques that they'll be able to use in many of their future projects . . . creating aging, shading, and texture in mixed media, just to name a few . . . as well as how to collage with ephemera, book pages, and papers in your art pieces. Acrylic paints, charcoal, pencil, oil pastels, and even image transfers were added as finishing touches to each piece.
